Nambu World: Murata Rifle Bayonets
The Murata series of rifles consisted of the single-shot 11mm Types 13 and 18 and the tubular magazine fed 8mm repeating Type 22. I am very fortunate to have not only all these rifles, but also the bayonets for them. The top one in the photo is the extremely long and thick Type 13. Next is the considerably shorter Type 18.The bottom two are the very short First and Second Variation bayonets for the Type 22. The Type 13 and 18 bayonets fit on the right side of the barrel, while the Type 22 bayonets fit under the barrel in the fashion we are more familiar with nowadays.
